Hopefully she gets to see at least a bit of it from her home office. As much as you enjoyed seeing stuff early on in your trip, it sounds to me like the end of the trip with all the time spent with family and friends was the highlight for you. Glad to read in the teaser that the overheating problem may have been resolved.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08333995679958103393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-88629258768370969712022-12-02T18:00:43.565-08:002022-12-02T18:00:43.565-08:00Great way to wrap up this awesome journey.Great way to wrap up this awesome journey.Gaelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05784162697113288888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-25227244332370109282022-12-01T19:54:56.808-08:002022-12-01T19:54:56.808-08:00Well, you did it, you and Mo and Mattie. Enjoyed seeing your daughter and her clan up in Washington on the beautiful lake. And the kids. And here you are back at Sunset House and ready for Christmas. LOL Yes, we are very very cold here as well, but not as cold as the east side for sure.Sue Malonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00332448503740101970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-54703208203504288152022-11-30T19:15:44.530-08:002022-11-30T19:15:44.530-08:00Yes, much as I loved the fall colors, it was time ...Yes, much as I loved the fall colors, it was time for Christmas cheer. Yes, the sheep are as pesky as any deer when it comes to eating everything in sight. Yes, I am so lucky to have 3 daughters. The 91 degrees wasn't too bad, not like in the summer when it stays hot longer. The shorter days made the warm temperatures quite pleasant. And two weeks later we had snow flurries. Bet it felt good to be home, but wow, what a trip! And WOW what a view...Great festive header picture. And WOW what a view Deanna has. I can’t even imagine how wonderful it must be to have big horn sheep right in your yard. Of course, perhaps they are like deer in the Blue Ridge – they nibble everything including your flowers and garden produce and leave pellets as your reward. What a wonderful picture of your whole family there. Great grandchildren. Wow! I won’t live to see that. How lucky you are. What a sweet picture of you two barefoot girls. That would be me and Carrie as well. Country in us all. You are so lucky to have 3 daughters. Boy that is some trip, some map. Can’t believe you were in Virginia and I didn’t get to bring you to the farm. Coming home to 91 degrees doesn’t sound appealing to me. But, it is what it is.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00328866430156879312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-39761641162363667032022-11-30T10:56:09.163-08:002022-11-30T10:56:09.163-08:00WOW!!
