You're braver than me to go swimming in those lakes ... the water temp has to be warm, warm, warm before I'd even think about it.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08333995679958103393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-78255821140038637982011-07-14T22:29:56.505-07:002011-07-14T22:29:56.505-07:00another great post from you!..we are so enjoying t...another great post from you!..we are so enjoying the ride!!Sue and Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11436889944386917688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-61658305972765854102011-07-14T22:26:08.062-07:002011-07-14T22:26:08.062-07:00Reading your posts, I am so glad you decided to go...Reading your posts, I am so glad you decided to go without reservations - you already would have missed out on so much if you had stuck to a structured schedule. I know I teased you about your photo and detail obsession, but it looks like you are giving in graciously to the call of the wild. Perhaps that is Mo's good influence? (just kidding!) BTW, you have posted FANTASTIC photos.Laurie and Odelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08160352835343733761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-84998246735213883572011-07-14T20:41:39.453-07:002011-07-14T20:41:39.453-07:00You are documenting everything so well for us, you...You are documenting everything so well for us, you should write a book about your journey. I have a very strong desire to go to Alaska, but not a strong desire to drive to Alaska. I will probably take the ferry. I could visit these areas in Canada at a different time without driving to Alaska.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01019364333876469130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6915357815051575646.post-51716859916643741502011-07-14T19:52:41.612-07:002011-07-14T19:52:41.612-07:00Wonderful photos and a great story to go along wit...Wonderful photos and a great story to go along with them too. We remember that drive very well from our trip in 2009. Love your photo with the kayak and dog in the water. We stayed at Pioneer in Whitehorse. Not great but not bad either and close to the hiking trails and ped bridge over the river. Lots of great scenery and canyons to see there. I've moved our blog from blogger to Wordpress.

www.phaetonplace.ca

Have a wonderful trip. We'll be following along with you.Markhttp://www.phaetonplace.canoreply@blogger.com
